Opera Protocol

Opera manages who is allowed to operate a tokenized real-world asset — and updates that authority when compliance changes.

What Opera is

Beyond tokenization

Existing RWA platforms stop at issuance. Opera models everything after — who may manage the asset, collect from it, distribute revenue, and whether that authority is still valid.

The core instrument is a Living Operating Right (LOR): programmable authority over asset operations, continuously repriced by the holder’s Cleanverse compliance score. Compliance is not a gate — it is the pricing engine.

The problem

  • Operators and distributors are managed off-chain, with no live compliance enforcement
  • Whitelist status is binary — a degraded operator keeps full authority until a human revokes it
  • Compliance has no economic consequence beyond manual removal

What Opera does

  • Adds a programmable operational layer on tokenized RWAs
  • Mediates rent, maintenance, leases, and distributions through LORs
  • Reprices yield, transfer cost, and listing status from a live compliance score
Example

How this looks in practice

Example: a Singapore family office tokenizes a solar farm and hires a maintenance company to run it and collect energy revenue.

  • Month 4: the operator’s parent company hits a sanctions list
  • Today: they keep collecting until a human notices and revokes access — manual, slow, risky
  • With Opera: their authority reprices and auto-lists the same block — a cleaner operator takes over
The asset Solar farm · Malaysia Tokenized RWA · monthly energy revenue

Same event — operator sanctioned

Without Opera Authority stuck Revoked identity still runs the farm until someone manually pulls the plug
With Opera Authority updates itself Score drops → yield freezes → right auto-lists → new operator steps in
Why unique

How Opera is different

Most RWA platforms only track ownership. Opera tracks who is currently allowed to operate the asset, and ties that permission to live Cleanverse compliance.

Traditional RWA

  • Ask: who owns this asset?
  • Compliance checked at transfer
  • Delegation is static
  • Agents only report
  • Compliance is a gate

Opera

  • Ask: who is currently authorized to operate it?
  • Compliance reprices authority continuously
  • Authority is economically alive
  • Agents are market participants with staked capital
  • Compliance is a pricing engine
Features

What Opera is built from

01

Living Operating Rights

On-chain authority over asset operations. Yield, transfer price, and listing status move with the holder’s live compliance score.

02

Agent Mandate Market

CVI-verified operators deploy Cleanverse agents to bid for mandates, stake CVA as a compliance bond, and execute autonomously.

03

Rights Price Oracle

A continuous index of LOR prices — the first market-determined valuation of compliance quality across an asset class.

Yield bonding Score bands gate how much yield is paid vs escrowed
Transfer pricing Fees move inversely with compliance quality
Auto-listing Score drops → LOR lists itself; protocol self-corrects

How Cleanverse powers Opera

Opera uses Cleanverse for identity, assets, compliance checks, and agent execution. It runs on Monad for fast score updates and settlement.

CVI

Verified Identity

Tenure, revocation, and jurisdiction feed the score that continuously reprices LORs.

CVA

Verified Assets

Sole settlement and stake instrument — clean-money origination by construction.

CCP

Protocol checks

Score input, transfer validation, and Travel Rule data on every value move.

Agents

Skill Framework

Execution runtime of the Mandate Market — principal verification, spend caps, audit trail.

Playground

Rule workbench

Configure score bands, mandate rules, simulate degradation, export CCP reports.

Rails · Gateway

Settlement path

End-to-end CVA cash flows with fiat on/off ramps that never break the compliance chain.

Roadmap

What comes next

Phase 2

Score sophistication

  • Asset-class score weighting
  • Peer cohort benchmarking
  • Portable score-history reputation
Phase 3

Market maturity

  • LOR structured products (CDOs)
  • Oracle-backed compliance lending
  • Cross-chain LOR portability
Phase 4

Institutional scale

  • DAO governance for community assets
  • Insurance priced off LOR scores
  • Sovereign & fund-of-fund mandates
